RESEARCH INTERNSHIPS

ESYS students are welcome to use on-campus faculty-lead research for their ESYS 190A requirement.  These opportunities are formulated by the students and faculty on an individual basis.  Examples of past and current research projects can be found on the Student intern profiles.

ESYS students who are interested in research internships are encouraged to talk directly to appropriate faculty, (ESYS faculty or other faculty or researchers on campus). Student might also contact Jane Teranes, ESYS Associate Director, for an appointment to discussion research ideas and appropriate faculty or researcher contacts. ESYS majors are also encouraged to consider off-campus research internships. If appropriate, and with specific approval, students may be able to use off-campus research to satisfy the ESYS 190A requirment.
